We enjoyed visiting with Auntie-Grammie Kay and Uncle-Grandpa Wayne.
This pretty much shows how it was. Go Irish!
At their 1 year check in visit with their awesome Physical Therapist Kathy and the Early Intervention program, the girls "graduated" out of the program as they are achieving in all areas at an age appropriate level. Mr. Eddie may continue for a little bit longer down in San Mateo County, but is also doing very well. Great Work babies! Thank you Kathy, we will miss you!
After a year of ping pong nick names (Lil Bit, Fina, Lizzie...), we think Serafina finally has a short name that will stick... Nina! She was named after my Grandmother Serafina who was also called Nina by the family, so there we go. Nina in her first sink bath.

We are all SO ready for the new house! |

Kay and Nina |
Everyone can now pick up finger foods like Puffs (have you tasted those things? they may be organic but - YUK!), O's and Frozen Waffles. We're still working on sippy cups, but now that two are holding their own bottles it is making life easier.
*On the Home Updating Front*
Floors have been put down in the Living Room, Master & Most of the Kitchen. They are pretty fabulous.

Fireplace painted, lighting updated. There are floors under that cardboard! |
|
Lights started out 90's shiny brass. Seriously couldn't live with them. |
|
They ended up Brushed Nickel. Will hold us over until we find ones we love. |
|
Granite slabs have been reserved and are ready for fabrication. Yay! |
I can't believe this is our last full week in Petaluma.
We will really miss it here but are looking forward to our new adventure.
Yep... into the new home, not a moment too soon. All that space will soon be filled with BARBOURS!
ReplyDeleteAnd for Great Grammie, Serafina is Serafina, no matter what nickname we give her!
Love to all from G Pop and G Gam
